Segment 3 – Catholic Biblical School of Michigan

“Catholic Biblical School of Michigan is a lay apostolate incorporated as an independent non-profit organization listed in the Official Catholic Directory, with a Board of Directors approved by the Archdiocese of Detroit. CBSM exists to invite Catholics to encounter Jesus in and through the inspired Word of God and grow as missionary disciples, fueled by daily connection to God in His Word.” New classes are starting up soon! Colleen tells us how you can sign up and where you can find more information.

Colleen Vermeulen is the Director and an Instructor at the Catholic Biblical School of Michigan. She joined CBSM in 2016 as an instructor in Year B and proceeded to become the Director in 2018. Her personal motivation for teaching is to connect people to the Scriptures so that they can listen and respond to God’s Word. When people encounter God in the Scriptures, the Holy Spirit takes care of the rest! Colleen seeks to help her students dig into the real life history of the New Testament in order to ground their faith and give them credibility when sharing the Bible with others.
