Alyssa Bormes is an educator, author, speaker, and retreat leader. She teaches at the Chesterton Academy and the Archbishop Flynn Catechetical Institute in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, writes for the WINE blog, is the host of a weekly show, “Catholic Kaleidoscope” on Radio Maria US, and is the author of The Catechism of Hockey and editor of Called by Name.
Segment 4 – Archbishop appoints Fr. Mario Amore to lead archdiocese’s evangelization efforts
Fr. Mario Amore of St. Aloysius Parish in downtown Detroit has been appointed director of the Archdiocese of Detroit’s Department of Evangelization and Missionary Discipleship, effective July 1. The department oversees the archdiocese’s outward evangelization efforts, including the curial offices of Cultural Ministries, Discipleship Formation, Engagement, Evangelical Charity, Family Ministry, and Sacred Worship.
