“‘Towards Full Presence. A Pastoral Reflection on Engagement with Social Media‘ (#FullyPresent) was published by the Dicastery for Communication on Monday 29 May. The aim of the document is to promote a common reflection on the involvement of Christians in social media, which have increasingly become part of people’s lives. Inspired by the parable of the Good Samaritan, the document offers an opportunity to begin a shared reflection on how to promote a culture of being ‘loving neighbors’ also in the digital world.”
Segment 3 – Archbishop appoints Fr. Mario Amore to lead archdiocese’s evangelization efforts
Fr. Mario Amore of St. Aloysius Parish in downtown Detroit has been appointed director of the Archdiocese of Detroit’s Department of Evangelization and Missionary Discipleship, effective July 1. The department oversees the archdiocese’s outward evangelization efforts, including the curial offices of Cultural Ministries, Discipleship Formation, Engagement, Evangelical Charity, Family Ministry, and Sacred Worship. He joins Teresa to discuss this and more!
