Segment 4 – Living Calm: Mastering Anger and Frustration
Vanessa picks Dr. Ray’s brain concerning the school shooting this week in Texas and taking God out of the public square. We also look at his new book.

Dr. Ray Guarendi is the father of 10, a clinical psychologist, author, public speaker, “Everybody Loves Raymond” binge-watcher, whistling enthusiast, and nationally syndicated radio host. His radio show― “The Doctor Is In” ― can be heard weekdays. Dr. Ray also hosts his own national television show, “Living Right With Dr. Ray.” His experience includes school districts, Head Start programs, mental health centers, substance abuse programs, inpatient psychiatric centers, juvenile courts, and a private practice.

Living Calm: Mastering Anger and Frustration – “Dr. Guarendi unpacks for you the many types of anger and the types of people who suffer most from anger. For some, anger is a trait; for others, it is a state.  Some are “wired fiery,” with an anger that is always simmering or on a low boil, while the anger of others often comes and goes quickly.  You’ll learn why feelings aren’t neutral, and whether anger is a product of your nature or nurture. You’ll also learn the difference between righteous and unrighteous anger — and why those closest to us can anger us the most.”
