Segment 2 â€“ The Latest from the Frontlines of the Pro-Life Movement

Fr. Frank Pavone is one of the most prominent pro-life leaders in the world. Originally from New York, he was ordained in 1988 by Cardinal John O’Connor. In 1993 he became National Director of Priests for Life. He is also the President of the National Pro-life Religious Council, and the National Pastoral Director of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign and of Rachel’s Vineyard, the world’s largest ministry of healing after abortion.




Segment 3 – Two-mile procession June 19 to launch Eucharistic revival in Detroit archdiocese
“The procession will begin with Mass at 1 p.m., followed by exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament on Woodward Avenue. The faithful will then process with the Blessed Sacrament down Chicago Boulevard, concluding with benediction at Sacred Heart Major Seminary. Organizers are praying for good weather and a large attendance, especially among families, priests, Catholic school students, the Knights of Columbus and other apostolates, said Marlon De La Torre, Ph.D., director of evangelization and missionary discipleship for the archdiocese.” He joins us.

Dr. Marlon De La Torre, who has decades of experience working in evangelization and education, including 10 years as director of evangelization and missionary discipleship for the Diocese of Fort Worth, Texas, was named the Archdiocese of Detroit’s new director of evangelization and missionary discipleship effective Sept. 7, 2021.
