Molly Modes is on her way to Lourdes today and she tells why the site holds so much significance for her. Fr. Ed Fride is sharing his testimony tomorrow night as part of the “Why Be Catholic?” series in Livonia.

Segment 2 – The Story of Molly Modes
Molly Modes has a condition called focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS). She went to Lourdes 15-20 years ago as a child and hasn’t experienced the symptoms since. The experience has led her to become a nurse and join the Order of Malta as an auxiliary. Molly is leaving for Lourdes again today on a pilgrimage with Archbishop Vigneron.  She shares her story today.

Segment 4 – “Why Be Catholic?” Event May 1st in Livonia
Come to St. Michael’s in Livonia tomorrow night to hear Fr. Ed Fride share his testimony at 7pm as part of their “Why Be Catholic?” speaker series.

Fr. Ed Fride is the Pastor of Christ the King Catholic Church in Ann Arbor, MI.  He converted to Catholicism in high school and became a priest after wanting to be a nuclear physicist.
