Guglielmo Marconi: Italy celebrates 150 years of radio pioneer
Segment 4 – National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion
The National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion is the first and only approved Marian apparition site in the United States. “Pilgrims from around 45 states are expected to visit the Shrine for the Walk to Mary on May 4. The shorter, 1.7-mile Walk with the Children that day is a preview of the route the Eucharistic Procession will follow on June 17 as part of the Northern Marian Route of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage.” Fr. Aytona tells us all about it!
Fr. Joseph Aytona – Along with being the rector of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion, Fr. Joseph is the founder of the Spiritual Motherhood Sodality as well as the founder of Family Vocation Ministries, an apostolate that promotes vocations through the sanctification of families. He has appeared on “EWTN Live” and “Life on the Rock” Catholic programs during which he discussed the importance of the Eucharist, the Priesthood, and the Blessed Virgin Mary. He has also been interviewed by Catholic Newspapers and Periodicals such as the National Catholic Register and Religious Life Magazine.
