Segment 1 – A New Study Purportedly Shows an Increase in the Demand for Chemical Abortions
“On Monday morning, the Journal of the American Medical Association released a study. It purportedly shows a large increase in the demand for self-managed abortions outside formal medical settings after the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision in June 2022. The researchers obtained data on abortion medications from online telemedicine organizations, community networks, and online vendors. The purported increase in the amount of chemical pills ordered nearly offset the reported decline in the number of abortions performed in 2022. This JAMA study has already been covered the New York Times and the Washington Post.” Michael New joins us. (Originally aired March 27, 2024)

Segment 2, 3, 4 – Science, Reason, and Faith: Discovering the Bible
“In Science, Reason, and Faith, Fr. Robert Spitzer, SJ draws the modern reader’s attention to the many seeming conflicts between science, reason, and Catholic teaching. By tackling these difficult questions, he shows that it is precisely through the integration of science, reason, and faith that we can truly discover ourselves, our world, and our God.” (Originally aired January 31, 2024)
