Segment 2 & 3 – Spiritual Excellence: The Path to Happiness, Holiness, and Heaven
“While we commonly develop plans for success in business, fitness, finances, and education, only rarely do we develop strategies for advancing in our spiritual lives. To address this void, Deacon Richard Eason has prepared this practical and motivational book to help you pursue spiritual excellence and discover the abundant life Our Lord is calling you to experience. This daily guide helps you first identify where you are on your spiritual journey and then pinpoint the specific issues impeding your progress. Best of all, Deacon Eason assists you in developing a personalized spiritual plan and offers you time-tested solutions for overcoming your sins and imperfections.”

Richard Eason has been a permanent deacon in the Archdiocese of New Orleans since 2012 and is assigned to Good Shepherd Parish. He participates in several Catholic apostolates, including being on the board of directors of the Ozanam Inn homeless shelter and volunteering at St. Jude Nursing Home in New Orleans, and he serves in the community as a member of theForeKids! Foundation. He is also a frequent speaker on Spiritual Excellence (as a series and study group) in Catholic parishes and prayer groups.

Segment 4 & 5 – Citigroup paying for staff to travel out of state for abortions
“Citigroup has started covering travel expenses for employees who go out of state for abortions because of newly enacted restrictions in Texas and other places, becoming the first major US bank to make that commitment. The new policy is “in response to changes in reproductive healthcare laws in certain states in the US,” the bank said late on Tuesday in a public filing ahead of its annual shareholders meeting in April.” Pamela Whitehead joins us.

Pamela Whitehead is the Executive director of ProLove Ministries, who also runs Loveline.
