Segment 1 – Intro and News

Segment 2 – TikTok May Be Back Temporarily, But Kids Still Shouldn’t Be Exposed to It
Melissa Henson writes here: “We as parents shouldn’t get too comfortable with TikTok, or any social media platform for that matter, when it comes to our children. As parents and grandparents, we need to exercise caution and vigilance when giving children access to smartphones and other devices. Social media platforms aren’t innocent. The reality is that predators target children online to sexually exploit or extort them. Social platforms have harmed teens’ mental health and exposed teens to sexual harassment.”

Melissa Henson is a noted expert on entertainment industry trends and the impact of entertainment media on children and American culture at large. She is the Parents Television and Media Council’s Vice President.

Segment 3 – A Study Shows That New Pro-Life Laws Have Saved Thousands of Lives
“On Thursday, the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) released a study on the impact of recently enacted pro-life laws. It analyzed state level fertility data from all 50 states and the District of Columbia from 2012 to 2023. It found that state level abortion bans and heartbeat acts resulted in statistically significant increases in state fertility rates. Overall, it estimates that over 22,000 lives have been saved by recently enacted pro-life laws. Good news!”  Michael writes more here.

Segment 4 & 5 – Albert’s Expeditions
Albert’s Expeditions, a Youtube channel television show created for young children ages 5-10, is launching on February 15, 2025. It will feature two episodes a month bringing young children and families on a worldwide adventure to discover their Creator and His divine imprint that is found all around them. From under the soil to as high as the solar system and everything in between, Albert, a fierce yet friendly falcon named after St. Albert the Great, leads them on scientific expeditions to uncover God’s incredible creations. St. Albert, the patron saint of natural sciences and a doctor of the Catholic Church, even gave the Peregrine Falcon his name over 800 years ago. Each episode’s nature theme relates directly to the viewer and how God is moving in each of their own lives. In a culture full of distraction and noise, the children are reminded of God’s magnificence and how wonderful they truly are, created in His image and likeness.”  Read more here!
