Segment 1 – Intro and News

Segment 2 – Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer to Retire
“Students for Life Action President Kristan Hawkins said today’s retirement announcement of Justice Stephen Breyer “represents an opportunity for the Pro-Life Generation to add to the obvious legal prerequisites of intelligence and skill the need for any nominee to have passed a high school biology class. Radical abortion advocates see this as a chance to strengthen a political coalition on the high court so that Roe v. Wade’s pattern of ignoring the science to prop up the legal mess that is abortion on demand can continue. We call on the Republicans to fight against any nominee who ignores the science of life for the callous calculation that ending innocent lives is the price he or she must pay to get a life-time appointment on the court.”

Kristi Hamrick, a well-known media consultant, strategist, writer and commentator, is chief media strategist and spokesperson for Students for Life Action. Specializing in earned media, she has years of journalistic experience and issue advocacy, advancing the storylines of organizations that create effective policy and enhance the cultural debate.
