Scientific American plays the political game

For just the second time in its history, Scientific American is endorsing a presidential candidate. This week the magazine threw its support behind Kamala Harris citing, among other things, the debunked claim that Donald Trump told people to inject themselves with bleach to protect themselves from Covid. Wes Smith joins us with more.

Salvation according to Vatican II

The Second Vatican Council reaffirmed the Church’s teaching that salvation for all mankind can only be found in the person of Jesus Christ. Eduardo Echeverria helps us understand the language of the council in articulating this teaching – and you can see him at an upcoming symposium.

Dr Eduardo Echeverria is Professor of Philosophy and Theology at Sacred Heart Major Seminary. He’s the author of several books including Pope Francis: The Legacy of Vatican II.
