Ave Maria in the Afternoon – October 24, 2024 – Hour 1

We examine the Covenants of the Psalms with Andrew Swafford and Joel Peters discusses the problems with Sola Scriptura.

Why Sola Scriptura Doesn’t Work

A major source of division between Catholics and Protestants is the notion of Sola Scriptura, which the Catholic Church rejects as contrary to Biblical teaching and Christian history. But Joel Peters points out another issue with the teaching – it is utterly impractical. He joins us.

Joel S. Peters is a life-long Catholic and NJ resident. He holds a graduate degree from Immaculate Conception Seminary at Seton Hall University. He has been extensively involved in Church ministries over the past 45 years, and he is a Catholic high school educator (26 years and counting). He is the author of Sola Scriptura Doesn’t Work – 25 Practical Reasons to Reject the Doctrine of Bible Alone.
