Beyond the Games: How Sports Can Help Kindle the Flame of Holiness

Matthew Anderson is the headmaster and co-founder of the Chesterton Academy of St. George in Jackson, Michigan. Originally hailing from central Illinois, he received his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Christendom College, where he later also earned his Masters in Systematic Theology. A veteran teacher with over a decade of experience, he has written articles for Catholic websites such as The Catholic Thing and Crisis Magazine. He and Joseph Gruber host the weekly radio show Two Masters of Theology on Good Shepherd Catholic Radio, which can also be found online. He and his wife Elizabeth have six children and live on five acres of land just outside of Jackson.

She’s and adjunct professor of Theological studies at Lourdes University in Ohio and in her program she discusses living a virtuous life and challenges listeners to flex their reasoning muscles to distinguish what is good by examining the virtues. She has served many ministries in parishes, schools, universities, diocese since 1978.
