Denyse Shannon was working the assignment desk at a local TV station when she learned of a horrendous story – a two-year-old child kidnapped and feared dead. As she reflected on the tragedy, she began to hear a calling from God – it was time for a change. She shares her story.

Pat Oedy-Murray is the host of The Virtuous Life, which airs on Annunciation Radio on Mondays from 4-5 pm with an encore on Saturday at 4pm. She’s and adjunct professor of Theological studies at Lourdes University in Ohio and in her program she discusses living a virtuous life and challenges listeners to flex their reasoning muscles to distinguish what is good by examining the virtues. She has served many ministries in parishes, schools, universities, diocese since 1978.
