Disabled Texas woman will not be denied food and water — for now — after judge’s order

A disabled Texas woman will continue to receive food and water after a Texas attorney filed an emergency petition last month to keep her parents, who are Catholic, from ending her life by starvation. Andrew Kubick joins us with more.

Andrew S. Kubick is the Deputy Director of the National Center for Religious Freedom Education and Research Fellow in Bioethics and Medical Conscience at the Religious Freedom Institute. He is also a Personal Consultations Ethicist at the National Catholic Bioethics Center and Adjunct Instructor of Bioethics at the University of Mary. His book Transplanting the Womb: A Catholic Bioethical Analysis is due out this fall.
