Taize Prayer Service

Come feed your soul. Find a refuge from a hectic world. Enter into Advent and away from the commercialism of Christmas. Join us for prayer and song at this tranquil candlelight service. This elegantly simple form of worship uses the smoothing music of Taize, a Christian ecumenical community in eastern France. Worshippers experience the meditative power of Taize chant and a contemplative time for reflection. No matter who you are or where you are on your spiritual journey, please join us for this special time of prayer and reflection.

Ave Maria University Greater Detroit Founders Club Dinner

All are invited to the Ave Maria University Greater Detroit Founders Club Dinner on Thursday, December 5th at the Radisson Hotel, 39475 Woodward Ave. in Bloomfield Hills. AMU alumnus and Catholic apologist Gary Michuta will be giving a talk titled “Christ’s Real Presence in the Eucharist: Arguments and Evidence.” Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. with the dinner and presentation to follow. Catholic Homeschool Mass

Eastern Mid-Michigan Catholic Home-Educators (EMMCH) invites all Catholic homeschool families to Mass and a fun social.

(EMMCH is a Catholic community of home-educators in the Eastern Mid-Michigan area. We believe parents are the principal and first educators of their children. Our community is faithful to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, holding all teachings as truth.)

Mass is at noon.

Immediately following Mass, we will gather in the basement of the Cathedral for finger foods, beverages, and crafts/activities for the children.

Please bring a finger food/snack to share, as well as table setting and beverages for your family.

Please RSVP to Michelle (mhadd015@charter.net or 316-2514)by November 7th, list your passing finger food/snack, and also include the # of children who will be coming. This will ensure a variety of foods, and allow me to make sure I have enough craft supplies/activities for the children.
