Event addressed to teens and their parents. Presentation by Sister Jane Dominic Laurel O.P. from St. Cecilia Congrgation of Dominican Sisters of Nashville, Tennessee. She holds Doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome, Italy, and is Assistant Professor of Theology at the Aquinas College in Nashville, TN.

Media and popular culture promote gender confusion. As Catholics, we know God created us male and female for a reason: our bodies, psyches, and biochemistry differ because our vocations differ. Only by rediscovering our identy as either male or female can we discover the gift of our lives and the genuine happiness that comes from living according to either the masculaine or the feminine mode of loving.

Presentation to be followed by brief presentation about Aquinas College.
