John Morales has an extensive 20-year background in radio and television, and he brings his love and passion for the Catholic faith as host of Catholic Exchange Today. Previously John was a television sports reporter and anchor for Fox SportsNet Chicago, WJBK-TV/Fox 2 in Detroit, WKBD-TV/UPN in Detroit, and KTRK-TV/ABC in Houston. He has been privileged to interview some of the greatest athletes of our time, including Michael Jordan, Walter Payton, Pete Rose, and Jack Nicklaus.
John's other passion is the Catholic faith. He has been able to share his unique perspective on sports and faith on Relevant Radio, EWTN, Ave Maria Radio, and Michigan Catholic Radio. He also has been a speaker at many conferences and parishes around the country. Through his work he has interviewed many Catholic athletes who have given their faith testimony, including Mike Sweeney, Jack McKeon, Mike Ditka, Mike Piazza, Mark Prior, Tommy Lasorda, and many others.
John was blessed to meet Pope John Paul II in 2002 and Pope Benedict XVI. He and his wife Cindy were part of the Papal audience on May 18, 2005 and had their marriage blessed. |
